Advice for 1 or 2 more fish...

25 gal IM Lagoon (24x16x12)

Protein skimmer, approx. 20 lbs. live rock, 1/2" sand bed

Current stock....dwarf Atlantic Pygmy Angel
Clown Citron Goby
Fire shrimp
Astrea, BL hermits, misc LPS/SPS

I would like to add a fish or two for some variety and close out the vertebrate group. Thinking of a clown and a sifting goby (Yellow Watchman e.g.). Would prefer a Maroon but concerned about compatibility with Angel, and whether the tank is too small for a Maroon in the first place. Could go Ocellaris or Pink Skunk...? BTW, no anemones in the tank.

Any thoughts/advice on these would be appreciated along with other recommendations, including "it's full the way it is".

Thanks to all...

25 gallon isn't a huge tank, especially for an angel. With one inside, you are basically full.

Now this is just me, but I'd take the angel out. Then replace it with an os. clown, or a peaceful clown. If memory serves, maroons are quite aggressive and I would think in a tank that size would bully everything.

A few ideas that come to mind are a single clown (mature pair will claim the whole tank), with a pistol/goby pair (or a sand sifting one if you have fine grain), and maybe 1 or 2 more nano fish depending on how the tank reacts with the bioload. You can see a whole bunch at http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15+2124

clowns don't need an anemone to host, they are just a bonus!

Blue legged hermits (from what I've read) are rather aggressive towards snails. Scarlet hermits, however seem to have a good rep.

I agree with above. The goby is perfect for that tank. But the angel not so much. It needs more space and will almost assuredly terrorize any fish you add. You could have several fish in there without the angel. But I just don't see any peaceful community developing in that situation.
