Advice on a 120G

Roger-

I'm upgrading from my 72G Bow tank to a 120G Miracle-in-Glass tank (48x24x24), and need some advice....

I presently have 2x6000's, and a 7094, I'm thinking about upgrading to a 7095, and Wavebox, and am looking to get the overflow/positioning so I can get the most wave.

Where would you put the overflow box, and the two 6000's to best optimize the wave? On the end of the tank opposite the wavebox, in the middle, where would it work best?

Thanks-

oldimpala,

I have found a 48" by 24" aquarium can be a bit of a challenge generating a wave as the Wavebox is almost at its limits. The best position for the wavebox is centre one end the 2 x 6000 back corners depending on rock layout.
The overflow box I would centre at the back so as less noise from the the wave as you get the seesaw effect.

Graeme-

Thanks for the info; I'll center the box....

One other quick question; can I turn off/remove the Moonlight on a 7095? My light fixture has them in it; and I'd prefer to use those. I do have a light sensor for my 7094, if they interchange, but I'd just prefer to not have the additional moonlights...

On the 7095, the moonlight and photocell are integrated and hardwired into one unit. You can turn off the moonlight.
