Hi all,
I must say I am impressed with everyones DIY LED builds, so thats why I want to make my own ( because you guys inspired me).
My build setup:
9 CREE XP-G R5 Cool White run at 1000mA
10 CREE XT-E Royal Blue run at 700mA
1 CREE XP-E Blue run at 700mA
1 CREE XP-E Green run at 700mA
1 CREE XP-E Red run at 700mA
3 UV LED (the ones at rapidled) run at 700mA
1 LDD- 1000H for CW
5 LDD- 700H one for each of the other colors
powersuply Meanwell HLG-240H-36A
all the above will be multiplied by two
1 Arduino uno
1 ethernet shield
1 pwm breakout ( 14 channels)
1 RTC breakout
When it comes to heatsinks I've been looking at a few a rapidled heatsinkUSA makers etc.
I know that some have anodized heatsinks does that really matters in our builds or not?( I know what the anodizing does).
My biggest concern is the powersupply if it will be good enough for this purpose or not. and the heatsink. I've also been thinking of designing my own heatsink and ask a school in my town if they could CNC one from my own design.
Comments and feedback would be great. Thanks!
