African flame back pigmy angel

What are the secrets of keeping a flame back alive? My last two flame backs lived 9 and 3 months. My water is within the basic reg. : amonnia (0), nitrate(0),ph (8.2), sal(1.023) temp(78). Present fish are 2nemos and 1 wrasse which have been living for 1 year. Feeding mystic shrimp and spirulina flakes. Please advise any help in having success with Flame back.

Do you QT? Do you enrich food with anything such as selcon or vitachem? Do you feed everyday? Really hard to know why your not having success with them.

Fish are fed twice a day. Do not put additives on food. They are not put in qt tank, very poor success in past. Fish do not show any decline the night before.
