Im new to saltwater and i am not particularly interested in fish or corals but i have always liked starfish. and the local shop sometimes gets Protoreaster linckii instock and i would really like to get one of these when my tank cycles completely. first of all i read that it is a carnivore...so what would i feed it? i was thinking maybe clams fromt he grocerystore, or shrimp???i also came across an article that no starfish can actually survive in captivity for very long because they will starve to death in time...in the same article later on it talked about starfish eating there corals and snails 
. the tank would only have this one starfish in it. any tips/advice for a newbie wanting a starfish?
