I finallly got that SOB. Im talking abot that Mantis shrimp. WOW! I found him making a new home in one of my rock. Because this rock had so much life on it I didn't want to remove it form the tank, but when I heard the loud click, I said the hell with it. My wife helped me lift the hood off the tank then I took the rock and put it in my Q tank. As I was thinking on how to get the shrimp out without distroying all the other life on the rock, out pops the shimp and he lands on the bottom of the tank. What the heck! I snatched the rock out of the Q tank before the shrimp could make its way back.
After I had gotten the tank set back up and I turned my back to walk away, and I heard one click. OH CRAP! another shrimp. Well so far I just here one or two clicks every 3 or 4 hours apart . So I hope that it is a pistal shrimp. "Time will tell".
As for the MS I caught, he is just chillin in the QT awaiting its fate.
That sucker is a fat 3 inches long and bright red. He should be well fed, he damn near wiped out my cleaning crew.
Now, what's that other clicking sound!!!!
Just maybe, TBS will pay a bounty for all Mantis Shrimps mailed back to them
Just Maybe!
