Hi Leo-
I will definitely try to take some shots soon. They are still coloring back up and, in my opinion, have a ways to go before they reach their full glory.
It seems like there are now two true echinata like species floating around. The traditional ones are just like the icefire while the new ones are more columnar and less bushy. I believe they are different species but have to refer to my Corals of The World to confirm which is more echinatalike.

Nope your eyes are working perfectly
Every once in a while these guys split a few different ways. Sometimes they crawl on the glass and they tend to stay there. Other times I have to pluck them off the rocks and put them in the fuge till I sell.

A Rout66 echinata colony came in to LFS the other day but chose to pass it up for a few personal reasons. Will look to alternative options. It won't be long before the market is flooded with Aussie and prices fall into alignment with market rates for Bali, Fiji, etc.

Well while im waiting for the price of Aussie to come down out of the stratosphere, I decided to pick up a few Indo gems. Got both for what DFSLA is charging for a single Echinata

The red will but the yellow one might turn green. Either way i will take a large green w/ pink tip table any day!
