Hey Erik. Any new shots of those sps you bought from DD? I'm interested in how that blue non aussie piece look in your tank!

Just wanted to report that the blue piece has colored up pretty close to what the DD picture shows! Fingers are crossed that it holds! Also picked up this piece last night :bounce1:

Yeah there have been a few of these on DD with varying intensity of blue. Has yours held its blue throughout? Polyp color?

Also it looks like its a large fragment of a larger table. Is yours a table structure?

The polyps are still blue even in my QT tank. I also picked up a chunk of an awesome lime green aculeus that he had.

As for tabling, I would not know as the original piece had already been fragged.

Somehow when I checked DD yesterday and saw that piece sold, I had a feeling it was you. Because I know how similar it looks to the blue table that has only came in once so far from Aussie.

Erik are you going to frag that non-aussue blue piece? I'm actually coming up to the bay again in a few weeks. If you're free I'd love to drop by again and trade/chat reef!

I have to say that is a killer tank. I wonder how I didnt find this tank sooner. If you dont mind me asking (and not reading the whole thread ) what halide bulbs are you running. I seen G-menn 3x 250's

I am running all 400's now but started off with 2 x 250 on ends and 1 x 400 in the center. Will probably return to 250's on the ends next time I buy bulbs as I have not noticed much of a difference running all 400's.
