Aggressive clowfish

I HAVE A PAIR OF Saddleback Clownfish, THEY'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR TWO YEARS NOW IN NANO TANK. ONE IS BIGGER THAN THE OTHER ONE ALMOST DOUBLE THE SIZE

USUALLY THE BIG ONE IS ALLWAYS CHASING THE SMALL ONE, BUT TODAY WHILE TURNING THE LIGHTS ON,THE BIGGEST ONE (FEMALE) GRABBED THE SMALLER ONE BY ITS TAIL AND AGGRESSIVELY PULLED HIM UNDER A ROCK. THIS HAPPENED TWICE IN A LESS THAN 5 MIN. THE SMALL CLOWFISH SEEMS TO BE FINE BUT IS THIS NORMAL? :worried:

DO ANYONE HAVE AN EXPLANATION FOR THIS BEHAVIOR?

I think it's a little excessive. Especially for that species. Sounds like a bad pairing to me. I would separate them.

It got me by surprice, they have been togueter for 2 years now,
why would this behaivor star now?
I noticed the big one (female) has become more aggressive over the time, but is just too aggressive, it shocked me

Perhaps just leave them. It could be aggressive mating rituals. It may end in the male dying or it may end in a clutch.
