whats your opinion on this?
180gal ,lots of live rock with a few caves and 2in substrate.
fish a 4in undulated trigger,7in lyretail wrasse, 24in japanese dragon eel, all added the same night.

You have two fish on your list that vary highly in their attitude from fish to fish. A 2 foot dragon may easily eat those fish. That Indy may kill everything too. Do you know the history of the behavior of these fish? Personally I wouldn't put an Indy in any tank unless it is by itself. Especially with a dragon moray as the horns on the eel will be very enticing for him to taste. Not sure what wrasse you mean by lyretail as well. Also that is a very high bio load you will be putting on the system. Is the system matured? Tim

yes its a 3yr old reef at the present time, going to be converting over soon to a agressive tank, away on work to much to keep the reef anymore, a moon wrasse is what i was thinking.

I think the lunare (moon) wrasse will probably be ok, scratch the undy though. Like Tim said, they will probably find the horns on your eel too tempting. Undy's and other aggressive triggers often don't get along with wrasses very well either. I would go with the dragon then add some smaller "dither" fish like damsels or something to see how it reacts to them.

their are some triggers that make much better neighbors than an undulated trigger if you have your heart set on a trigger and the dragon eel.
