it is a home made tank and whoever made it didnt do a great job on the cuttung of the glass or the seams. it is structurally sound, just didnt look good enough to use without covering the seams and top edge. i wasnt planning on the molding until i got the tank home.
here is one with a light behind it. not the best pic, but you can see the cuttle on the right and the brighter oval yolk sac on the left. they are easy to see in person

it is about 2 to 3 weeks. some of these eggs seem very near hatch date (almost no yolk sac when candled) and some seem at least a week or longer from hatch.
