AI Controller Issues

OK I need to get this fixed ASAP.

I have a AI SOL BLUE

Lately in the neighborhood the utility company has been shutting off the power to maintenance work.

I have the light schedule for daytime only from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM with a 1 hour sunset. I have the controller set to auto with no nighttime and no lunar cycle. Its been working fine.

Every time we loose power now the unit goes to manual mode - Not good as this has been 5 days where the lights have been on all night - ~20 hours. I am noticing a small algae breakout now too.

I have to go through the settings and put it back to auto every time. Any ideas?

How long is the power out for? Is it worth getting a small UPS for the lights?

That's weird. There's a battery backup in the controller. Mine doesn't do this. Bad controller??

I though I read that lights went on and stayed on after a power loss... but cannot find that in the manual now... maybe I read it as a bug. If you have not done it yet, you may want to upgrade to the latest firmware.

I just upgraded the firmware - will have to test
