as Cinder01 stated, presets were killing me as after i made all my ramp times and saving, clicking any link would wipe the preset. I now have it working under NO preset.

once it is fully functional i might just make a winter/ summer preset, don't know yet. depends on if lunar cycle and daylight savings time is properly incorporated

I could not connect to your Director locally and i could not get the Wi-Fi to work.so i thought i would share with everyone.here the answers that helped me.
Good Morning
In order to connect to your Director locally using http://director-your serial# here.local/ , you must have Bonjour installed on your computer (available with itunes).
Be sure when attempting to connect wirelessly that you have the USB Wi-Fi adapter plugged in, your ethernet cable unplugged, then power-cycle the Director. After doing this and connecting to http://director-your serial# here.local/, are you able to see your home network in the network list?

It looks cool thats for sure, but it disconnected my vega and I keep getting errors and cannot control it. Need to figure this out.

I hope they did more than just a visual update..

It's working for me so far, and although I'm not trying to use all the features so far, a lot of problems have been addressed and it seems more stable and user friendly now. I'd still advise to post problems and ideas at BetaEasy. Many of my issues were resolved quickly when I posted on their forum.

Does the (current version) director unlock the 20 channels of control with the vega? I find the the moon lights (4x royal x 3 lights) is way to bright for my tank. I was hoping to run just 1 or 2 blue for the moon lights.

I haven't been using the director for a couple weeks now. I've tried playing around with the new update but it will only find one of my lights. I've tried holding the power button down until it flashes but it will never go into discovery mode. Is there some way to reset the lights that I'm not aware of?
I cannot even control the light by using button pushes. The LEDs on the light all seem to be at 1% brightness and they don't turn off. Right when I unplug and plug back it it goes back to the same, very dim lighting. How do I fix this?

are you using the Wi-Fi adapter plugged or ethernet? over the weekend the Wi-Fi adapter stopped working for about a hour or so that i know of.some how i got it to work again.try to unplug everything for a hour or so i had to do that with my apex a one time to get it to reset.

I'm using a the Ethernet connection. I have been unable to get wireless to work for me. It will never detect my wireless network. I actually was able to discover my other light this morning. Not sure what fixed it but its working now. Thanks scooby

The Vega and Hydra only have 7 channels.

Hydra 7 Vega 20 (one of the differences) unfortunately with the current controller it just control colors not individual leds

If you put 20 different color LEDs it would be 20 channel.
