AI Director Beta - Who got picked? Lets talk 'Director'!

Anyone else finding their Director jumps ahead an hour?

Have had the Director since around beginning of last December and really no problems, works great other than this time skipping. It happened maybe 5 times in total, 3 before the FW upgrade but a couple times since I upgraded last week.

I'll only notice it because the lights have started to ramp down earlier than normal and when I log in the time has advanced an hour. Unit is set to local time same as the computer, thought maybe something to do with daylight savings. I'll adjust back to correct time, save, but it keeps happening. Rarely to I connect to the Director, about the only time I do is to correct the time.

Any ideas?

Make sure you have the right time zone selected, what time you enter doesn't really matter when you select the wrong time zone.

Also what about DST (daylight savings), maybe you are in AZ without it?

It happened again. Didn't notice what time lights turned on this afternoon but just came upstairs and see tank is dark, since jumped ahead an hour. It's had been okay for a couple of days.

I'm in Edmonton Alberta and had Director original set to GMT-7 (Mtn Standard Time) and had changed to GMT-6 a while back around time when first noticed the jumping. Jumps if -7 or -6.

Just got my Vegas last night. Was having some issues updating firmware on my lights until I hard wired my director to my network.

I am loving the AI Director !!! Only have 1 AI Hydra 52 over a 40g and 1 AI Nano over a 30g but it is awesome to be able to control these two lights via the Director/web from the couch or my office if I want to make a change. I'm using the clouds, lunar and acclimation and tried the lighting/storm but had to turn it off b/c the pomeranian dog gets freaked out and the TR clowns seem to jump around also. I have been prompted/loaded several updates so far with no trouble. Only problem I noticed to date is that 1 time i thought i saved some changes to the colors to the Hydra52 but when I looked at it later it was at the prior colors - not sure if i did or didn't change but thought i did.

That might be fire walling issues in your home network equipment or wireless access point trouble. I work in IT and I've tried many types of network equipment at home and they are not all created equal. I switched over to apple time machine/wireless access point and all works great now. It just works ;-) I don't work for apple - but in IT field for 25 years

I spoke too soon. It lost connection again two days ago. I have had to reset it the past three days in a row. Tonight it didn't even last for one minute before it needed a second total reset. There are too many acros in my tank to have the light doing whatever it wants!

Lights have been flawless for me for a few months., Wake up today my left one is doing its own thing and running on 100 percent for the whole night. Would have been great if this happened while I was on vacation. Had to move my director right next to my lights to get the other light back on the program.

same happened to one of mine Friday night, stuck at 100% but a reboot of the light fixed it.

anyone can help ?

getting error : The Director is not connected to MyAI.

Tried to reboot the director and it is showing Green.

If you can get to it locally and make changes, it may not be getting enough power to run the Web server. Can you connect it directly to the router with the wireless adapter unplugged to see if that helps
