AI Hydra 26 Coverage Question?

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a new 6 foot tank built and was wondering how many Hydra 26's are needed to provide cover?

The tank will be mostly fish orientated.

3 hydra 26 depending on what you are keeping....but if it were me, I would do 2 hydra 52's for $100 more. You have more options with more power and pucks. The hydra 52 is powerful and can be raised higher or lower depending on type of coral and I had one and can tell you SPS had incredible colors, simply vibrant! Jmo

Running a 26 over a 40g fusion and I also have a 40g in another room and I wouldn't puta 26 hydra over the 40g breeder the edges would get a lot of low light shadowing. Go with two 26's (better spread) or a 52 imo

Nope. Going to need 2, at least. I run 1 over a 20 long and can only keep frags in the middle.

+1 I've seen 52 on a 20g long and I was just enough growing a good amount of acro's. The 26 hydra is half a 52 and the prime is half a 26.

i run 3 hydra 52s on a 90.but there in a canopy 6" off the water on a 4ft tank u would need atleast 3-4 hydra 52s on a 6ft tank
