AI HYDRA 52 HDs or EM RADION XR30W G3 PRO?

I just ordered the Red Sea Reefer 425 XL (47"X23"X22) and am debating whether to get the Hydra 52 HDs or XR30W G3 PROs.

I like that the Hydras are now controllable through your phone without needing a separate controller/director, but I read that the XR30W Pros still have more power. I want to be able to grow SPS and would rather invest in something I could use long term without needing to upgrade.

Which would you recommend (price not being a barrier)? Are 2 enough or would I need 3? Any other lights you prefer compared to these two options?

Thanks so much for your help!

Both would be fine.

I've owned both. So far, I'm having better success with Hydra 26 HD's. My SPS color and growth is really quite nice. I'm noticing quicker growth than when I ran my ATI 6x24 T5 over my tank.

Looking at LED's again, I was tossed between Radion, Kessil, and Hydra. Reason why I chose Hydra, mainly, is because it's controllable from your phone out of the box. I don't need to spend an extra $100 on a controller or reeflink. After that, I started following people who were having great success with the Hydra's and shortly after that I was sold. I don't regret at all buying these lights and can absolutely seeing me have great long term success with them.

Thanks Hentz! It's nice to have the perspective from someone who has experience with both. I'm leaning towards the AIs too.

I have the same tank (not setup, still sitting in the crate in the garage) I like the Hydras but really like the way the Radions mount x100. I like running the light parallel to the tank not perpendicular.
