AI Hydra 52 owners

[Aquatic Reef Creations]

Hey Gang,

Picked up my new set up last week and it came with 4 of the AI Hydra 52s. Currently the tank houses softies and a few zooanthids. I plan on starting to introduce some SPS in the future and I am looking for those of you that are running these and what lighting schedule/settings you are using.
It came with the controller but not the director.
Tank is a 150 72Lx18Dx28H.

Any input would be appreciated.

Sweet, those are awesome lights. Look at hydra and don't be afraid to look at Radion schedules as well. My only advice is pick a schedule and resist the urge to continually tweak it. Start at s low intensity and slowly increase from there. Good luck!

I have the RedSea reefer 450 which is 21" deep. I am running 3 Hydra 52's (not the HD) on it, 12" above the water line. I am using the standard controller for them. I have SPS, Lps, Zoas. My SPS growth is amazing. Your tank is deeper so I would go a little higher on the white, maybe 35% and see how that works. Be careful, too much white will burn the corals. Hope this helps. Im in Boca. You are welcome to check my lighting and growth out.

White 25%
Violet 50%
Red 20%
Green 20%
Deep Blue 75%
Royal 75%
UV 30%

Sunrise 9am
Sunset 5pm

Rovster has a really nice led tank. I would follow his lead. It works so I would start there.
