I'm trying the numbers you came up with, which actually have lower whites than what I've been running. I'm going at 90 percent intensity and supplementing with 2 t5's.

Yes I also have 4-T5 above the tank. What size tank do you have and how many hydra above it and what corals do you keep?

I have a 90 gallon mixed sps dominate tank. Running 2 Hydra 52s and 2 T5s (ATI 54 watt Coral Plus and Blue Plus).

Very nice tank you got there bud! Let me know what you think of the look of those settings. I think we are lower count on blues than Royals if I'm not mistaken

Thanks man! Yeah, I need more space though. I'm planning an upgrade to a 7 foot tank. My 90 is built into the wall so I'll have to remodel yet again.

How long do you run your T5's and Hydras? What intensity do you run the Hydras at?

I run my LEDs 12hrs and I run my T5 3 hrs but I may bump them up to 4 hrs. All lights are 10" off the waterline. I'm about 200 par with only led and all lights on I'm about 250.

All tangs are about 5" long as size reference of corals. I haven't been running this led setting for long.

Tank started almost 5 yrs ago and here is a pic almost 1 year after starting. I use to have a minimalist rock structure but grew in and covered that up.

Just set the light to 100 Blue and violet channels and 24 White red green channels with 7 hrs at those values and 1-2hr ramps. That will get you close enough

Hi Orcus,

Just to check. For HD , we set the white to 19%
For one HD 52 , there is 12 white led. For non HD,
there is 16 white led.

Hence 19% on HD is equivalent to 19%*12/16=14%
But you recommended 24%. Possible to share your calculations

not4unco....can you tell me what Tommy Joes tweaked is? I just came off acclimation mode-Tommy Joe-but its a tad blue for me and also, his levels seem a bit low.

Anyone familiar with this Lighting schedule for Aqua Illumination LED lights. looks like it might have lunar effects on but I never seen BRS put this out.
