Here is my settings for my 120. I have 2 Hydras setup over the 4' tank. Played with alot of settings, this is what I settled on. Sps is looking good. Lps is loving it, RBTA is also enjoying it. I wont be switching for quite some time.

Time 9 11 1 615 8301130
White 12 30 42 25 8 0
Violet 10 25 25 30 2 0
Red 5 15 30 15 2 0
Green 5 15 30 15 2 0
Blue 25 55 55 50 15 0
Royal blue 10 60 60 55 15 0
UV 3 12 15 6 0 0

You might be missing the first line in the numbers: Time.

In that line he tells us what time the different led´s are on.
In the following lines, he tells ud what percentence they are on at that time :)

AI Hydra Settings Thread

Oooo, sorry guys. Lol I should have checked post first. I just copied and pasted from my excel spreadsheet on the computer, I'm not near computer to do it properly. I will try and sort it out now.

using these %'s now...i have CW lower at 25%...but I have a really shallow tank only 18" deep
I really like the spectrum...and it appears that my coral appreciate it also...

I have a 28g nano that is only 18" deep as well and my numbers are much higher currently.

UV=30
Vio=60
DB=80
RB=80
Gr=15
Rd=15
Wh=50

Slightly increased my blues, whites and uv by 5% at peak and have continued to see really good growth and color.

Here's an updated tank shot of 4x26s and 2x52s:

Here's a link to my AIP file if anyone would like to give my schedule a try (I'd HIGHLY encourage you to acclimate for 6+ weeks to this schedule if you haven't had your levels this high):

Happy to answer any questions.

Here is my PAR map for my 120 48" long tank. There are 5 hydra 26's over it and I have been very happy with growth and coverage. I like having multiple smaller lights for the overlap, even in the overhangs there is a decent amount of light. The numbers are even across the tank at the same distance, the reason some numbers are high is the rock where the coral is located is higher in that spot, like the right rear, they are only 4" under water. I run all channels 80% for 2hr, then reduce the whites, reds, green to 32% for the remaining time for a total of 8 hours plus a ramp up and down of 2hr in the am, 2hr in the evening.

I have used this setting for about 10 months now but I acclimated at a 50% reduction across 6 weeks first. Colors and growth have been good on everything so far. I have a Green Monti Cap, Frogspawn, Acan, Alveopora, Zoa's, Paly's and a Crocea. Recently added a trachy and a Maxi Mini Nem.

The worst of the lot was the Acan and Alveopora. Had to place the Acan under shade for approx another month then slowly move it out. Nice and orange now with about 30+ heads. Originally had 3. The Alveopora is partially bleached and has recovered about 70% so far but I don't think it will ever get back to 100% unless I remove it and place it under very little light and flow. Of course, that won't happen with my plan of a lot more SPS coming soon.

ok, just wondering because the UV and white seem pretty high for only an 18" deep tank, and depending on rock structure and AWL height those numbers might be too intense, unless of course you are 12 + inches AWL.

I think I am at around 12" AWL. I remember cranking my numbers up and moving it up sometime last year in July or August for easier access into the tank. I will double check when I get home after work today to make sure.

I know the UV seems high but I tried something that was talked about previously and it worked well. I ramp it up and only peak at 30% for 2 hrs a day.

ahh, i got ya, yes that would make a difference opposed to my lower uv which ramps up and down throughout the entire day.

I know I'm late, but there are just way too many pages to look through lol. Which is great! But I'm thinking of starting a 60 gallon 48x24x12 peninsula tank and I would like to keep a mixture of things (sps, lps, softies). What would you guys recommend? I was thinking two Hydra 26s would do the job but I'm really not so certain. Thanks!!

Someone pm'd me asking for percentages because they couldn't use the AIP file so I figured I'd post those up as well.
