Found this stuck to a piece of macro algae I received last week...

Glad I dumped everything in a qt tank...

Yes, remove is carefully so no pieces come off and spread. Unfortunately you said you got it last week. There's a good chance you already have more.

Good thing its in qt. Inspect it all verycarefully.

It is stuck to that "leaf",, gonna pull it whe it closes for the night....

Well I pulled the leaf it looked to be stuck to,, it already had moved to the rock work...
Found a few more as well..
I trashed all the macro in the tank, bleached the rocks over night...

I had the same. I just added a pair of peppermint shrimp to the QT and they cleaned up nicely.

bleach or a flamethrower are the only two options I believe.

I had an aiptasia go threw a powerhead and it became a thousand little ones. Tossed in a gang of them and they had it cleared out in no time. But then they started picking at my Seabae and then the shrimp strangely disappeared...odd but I did have one happy Seabae LOL

I have a single peppermint shrimp in my tank. Have never seen aiptasia since! Luckily hes friends with my triggers too!
