air in anemones tenticals

I just got a bubble tip anemone and and 3 of its tenticals are like sticking strait up like there is air trapped in it. What can I do about this?

I would not think that is possible. They have the ability to deflate and reinflate so if it is bothering the anemone it should just deflate and reinflate with water from the tank.

At this point if all other signs of health are positive I wouldn't worry about it for now.

It is possible as I've personally experienced a green quadricolor trap water within its tentacles. Unfortunately, I have no suggestions for this as I lost mine as a result of it detaching, floating to top to only be caught and killed by a powerhead.

If it is healthy it should expel the air on its own, if not, I dont know if it would stress it out more but you can bother it a bit and it should close up and expel most of its water/air and refill with new water after a while.

If it is extremely bad, consider clipping the end of the tentacle. The tentacle tip would die regardless, if it continued to have a large bubble trapped in it.

I have seen this happen on rare occasion when a weak/stressed anemone is kept in a holding tank with a venturi or lots of bubbles. Note that in the wild anemones can often live in/close to the surf zone so they have the natural ability to block bubbles or eject them. However if they are weak, you may need to step in. Anemones can lose tentacle tips without much harm to the entire anemone. People report all the time when their aggressive clowns will rip off tentacle tips, or sometimes even entire tentacles.
