So I'm still trying to locate a juvi or a small male for my female Akindynos.
My LFS just called me and said that they now have availability of large ones. The discussion ensued and she told me that from what she had heard, they will hassle ANY newcomers regardless of size and it's likely that they will kill the new addition.
Anyone confirm or deny? I was under the impression that the Akindynos being a somewhat less agressive species may be okay with a newcomer?
To qualify: she was part of a mated pair and the male went carpet surfing several months ago. She's been in there on her own since... She has a nice RBTA that she calls home.
