Akrimmel-I would not try to antagonize the mods if I were you-IMHO
This is a very useful local forum where you can gain a lot of knowledge and get help from other local reefers. It would seem counter productive to get yourself banned from RC because of pointless antagonizing with a mod. IMHO and good luck with your reef!

And chad should know . It just seems like yesterday when the trees were in bloom and our local equipment junkie was banned . LOL

Farmer could sell instructions onhow to get banned. It might cover the cost of some of his equipment, as it seems some around here really do enjoy getting banned.
Threads get yanked for lots of reasons though. Some of the reasons seem obscure and sometimes it seems that the rules are not applied equally.
That being said, I need the forum too much to get bounced, as I am still so very new at this. Too much to learn here for me...

It seems like boredom is the fuel for this fire. LOL
The point should be this is a local reef club forum which is part of ReefCentral. Trying to cause trouble in a local clubs forum is not a cool thing to do. If your desire is to cause trouble, there are other places to do it besides this clubs forum. I know you are not just trying to cause trouble but by doing this here, in this forum, you are casting a negative shadow on the rest of this club. If you have an issue with a Moderator here, take it to PM. 
Look at it this way.... Members: 129,697, Threads: 866,576, Posts: 7,656,097 ....imagine you are a Mod here and you have 866,576 threads to monitor, there aren't 5,000 mods here and you have a life of your own to lead. Would you feel you had time to answer a few hundred PM's a day? Would you be happy about one person in a burried forum stirring the pot. You are actually lucky they didn't just ban you and block your I.P. Fortunately the Mods here are very forgiving and let a lot pass.

Of course we are, and the more trouble that happens here the less likely they will be to be lenient and gracious. Posting and being on RC is not a right, it is an honor, and it is because of the people who run this site that we are able to share information about the hobby and keep in touch with other through this venue.

I would be interested in why chad isn't allowed to recieve PMs we all know he is not a wholesale person .So is there anything you guys can do to fix this issue . Sometimes some people may just want to PM him about stuff that isn't really anyone elses business .

Chad knows why his account has it's current status; I've seen the conversation. None of this will help his standing.
sirreal63 has it nailed. We get over 9000 posts per day here. If you go out of your way to get yourself noticed we're more than happy to oblige.

Another viewpoint . . .
It was my thread that originally got closed. I posted a legitimate question about a problem I was having with my tank and didn't get my question fully answered because someone else got it closed.
I don't have any problem with fun and games . . . but don't hijack someone's thread.
