Albuquerque Aquarium

We can have a group tour of up to 25 people, so far only a total of 10 people have been confirmed. Please let us know if you will be able to make it.

the tour will be this Sunday @ 2pm.
 
Sorry all, something unexpected came up and as it turns out I will not get to make it to this meet. I was so looking foward to being there and being able to see all the equipment being as i missed it the last time. I hope everyone that gets to go enjoys the experience.

Kellys is that the one on knobb hill that makes their own rootbeer? I always hit chama river on the way home... I love some ipa.
 
I just ate at Kelly's, its on central ave. its only 2 miles away from your hotel, and Im just a mile away from your hotel. and there is a saltwater store between your hotel and mine. I stoped ther and it is a very well stocked (equipment wise) They had very basic livestock on hand. Most of their coral are also very basic, I did not see any must haves in stock. Overall the store was good, I really liked the fact that they had alot of dry goods in stock.

I concur. You can get some basic stuff at an inflated rate. This is why I like to trade or buy stuff from other reefers or just purchase online
 
inflated rate is profit. Its what keeps the store open :)

I didnt think about looking up fish stores in the area. I spent enough money as it is I dont need to come home with a bunch of corals too!

We had a great time!! Want to thank reign for coordinating this for us. Really appreciate it and we owe you!!! The staff at the Aquarium was incredible and they really let us take our time and enjoy the tour. It was also good meeting some of the reefers from Albuquerque and meeting up with everyone from our club.

Had a camera malfunction (brought the camera "“ forgot the CF chip in the computer :headwally:) but had a friend take some pics and he will be emailing them, hopefully, tonight or tomorrow.

It was a great event, we even man handled the people who worked there to show us just about every room. My Fam had fun I hope everyone else did as well
