Algae Identification Help...

tuff to ID from that pic but corallines occur in those colors

can you blow it off the rocks? Corallines don't budge.

No I can not "blow" it off the rocks but I can scrape it off with my fingernail. It's been there for a few weeks and seems to be gradually spreading. It is only on the rocks, it is not on the glass, sand, or anything else.

If you can scrape it off its probably a form of red turf algae. That can go either way. It may just stay as patches here and there, or it may grow to be more of a hassle.

Any idea what the white stuff is, it looks kinda like mold for lack of a better word. Is it algae or a type of sponge?
