Algae problem

What were nitrates before you started dosing?
How long ago did you start dosing vodka?
How long have nitrates been 4?

You clearly just have/had a nitrate issue and the algae is certainly not going to go away overnight..

And with whats in your tank its just too easy to just take one rock out each couple days and scrub with toothbrush in a 50/50 mix of old tank water and hydrogen peroxide for about 15 minutes each rock then rinse and right back into the tank..
Problem will be gone in a few weeks or less..
Just do it..

True dat! I didn't realize it was a small tank. Just scrub them up. You're reducing your nutrients so you'll beat this.

Before i start was about 10-20
I start dosing about 7 month ago
About 4-5 month i try keep them at 4 max.

Use 1/2 tank water from a water change and 1/2 r/o water.

Add an ATS. Some rocks like Pukani leach tons, but due to algae growth will still show as 0 on kits.

yeah just some more old tank water is fine..
