Algae Problem

I have green algae blooms that seem to be growing daily. It looks like a leafy algae. I have tried everything I know to do. Nitrate reactor,Carbon reactor,Phospate reactor. My water parmeters don't indicate any problems. Halide bulbs are 7 months old. Feeding habits and food type has not changed in a long time. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on where else to look??

Ca 430
alk 8.3
Mag 1300
nitrate 2.00PPM out of tank and 2PPM out of reactor
Phosphate 0.0025

I don't know how to post pictures. Just can't figure it out. It's bright green in color and looks leafy it's like you can see vains going through it. I have had the stringy green algea before. It dosen't look like that..

The reason you have algea is because your phosphates are high. The most natural way to get rid it any kind of algea is frequent water changes to keep the phosphate level down because that is what algea thrives on.

Provided your doing changes with RO/DI water. You might want to add a fuge as well if you don't already have one.

Aside from water changes and phosphate control how about adding a Yellow Tang or Rabbitfish (foxface). Or some algae eating snails. Just a thought. I am a beginner so please research and listen to the folks with longer experience. The fish I mention worked great for my aquarium until I got my phosphate under control.

I have a yellow tang just not in the picture. My Phosphates are close to 0 plus I am running a Phosphate reactor with Rowa. I think this will show it better. My photography is terrible.
