Algea that can not be killed or eaten!

This stuff will not die! Nothing will eat it! It is very hard to remove. I have even covered this with a black trash bag for six weeks and it survived. RO being used, of course, large fuge in the works, water is perfect. Any suggestions how to get rid of it?

Do you test your RO water TDS? Do you test your aquarium nitrates and phosphates? Do you have any herbivores in your tank? I can't tell what that algae is but a small diadema urchin would likely eat it. Are you familiar with refugiums? You might try growing another algae like chaetomorpha in a brightly lit refugium.
