You should understand that is unhealthy for the fish. It has to do with the space not the water quality. Other than that your tank looks really good.

How do you keep the sand so clean after 15 months?

Brad, I use those gravel Siphon (for freshwater) every time I change water. If part of them get dark, I siphon them out, rinse it really well, sun dry and put it back in.

Yes Reefer08, It is a baby regal angel.
I've kept it more than 5 months with no problems.
Wish it is still reef-safe in future.
