Allfish Emporium is Closing?

An employee of Allfish told my friend today that Allfish is closing in March due to owner owes back rent. Anybody else heard any rumors? Possible auction coming.

Sorry but that place stinks. I went like 3 years ago and it was great. Now I went like 2 weeks ago and everything looks terrible

My guess is that the two allpets will also close. Seems that the owner does not know how to run a business. Remember the debacle with the Allpets store in Coral Springs. It had a grand opening and two months later it was closed.

I was there this week, they are passing out flyers informing customers of their anticipated closing.

Closing. Yes. However, that isn't the reason at all.
The company is changing directions to move into more AllPets locations due to their success.

There is no auction coming.

with so many years open and such high foot traffic coming through those doors compared to allpets this move doesnt make any sense to me atleast. taking out the companies foundation i just see it all crumbling down now. Dana must love his new steve replacement.

I have always loved this store but I have to admit I buy little there. Dry goods are way overpriced and fish look terrible.

However I did take my brother there just yesterday as he was visiting for up north.

Wonder if I could get a deal on that shark tank?

It's hard to be successful when a large portion of your fish are dead

Sorry but that's just plain not true....this is a thread that will probably be better off just left out......stick to facts people not opinions or hard feelings....you don't like an lfs don't go its as simple as that...no need to bash ....

Not quite sure how that's not true, But I don't want to start a ****ing match so I won't argue your opinion.

I use to get my RO water there. I don't know where I'm going to get it now. I never would buy any fish there. The back room was nice, it was a shame that there was always at least one dead fish in every tank and if they weren't they looked like they wish they were.

I started this thread to make an announcement I heard. I was a loyal customer for water only and some dry goods but I don't care how big your store is and how many more fish you have. The amount of dead fish or dying fish in that place was unacceptable. With all those employees you are telling me that they could not go around once an hour to check on the tanks. I actually saw one employee get a fish from a tank for the customer and had to move the dead one out of the way to catch the one the customer wanted. I expected the employee to come back a get the dead fish out and all he did was call the next number. I don't blame the employee I blame management.
