Alligator Pipe Fish

Does anyone here own any Alligator Pipe fish? Just wondering how can you tell a male from a female. What temp. do you keep them at? Any info on them would be appreciated.

assuming you have conditioned specimens (not emaciated from going thru the chain of custody), a male's belly will be more "hollow"/concave.

i recommend keeping them at tropical SH temps: 70*F-74*F.

Thanks for the info. It is hard to tell the sex by looking at them& checking out the belly.
At least their eating frozen brine & frozen mysis. They were purchased at a lfs who buys direct from the divers & they were in their display tank for over 1 week. The larger one is green & the smaller one is yellow.
