As far as succulents go, aloe is one of the more salt tolerant. It can grow around desert salt flats. But, salt won't kill it. Waterlogging will. More tried and true plants are cordgrasses, bald cypress (kinda), mangroves, seaside paspalum, marsh elder, indigo bush, groundsel bush, american beachgrass, seacoast bluestem, needlerush, panic rush, saltgrass, saltmeadow bulrush and seaside goldenrod.
