Why is it that whenever your hardware dies, it's always when it's least convenient for you to repair and/or replace it? Skimmer pump's all locked up. I should expect nothing less from a 10 year old powerhead :lol:. It's in a vinegar soak right now, but I heavily doubt it will be resurrected. We can dream though...

Anyways, anyone have any reccomendations to replace an old Sedra 3500?

The Euroreef CS-6 knock-off I have for sale has a Sedra 3500. Make offer. It also ran for ten years however. It was running fine when I shut it down.

SkiFletch, If you don't want the entire CS-6 and want to borrow the 3500 until you get a newer replacement, let me know. It's just sitting in my pile of stuff to sell or use on a future build. 57zero-614nine. Call or text as I'll be away from RC for a while.

I checked my logs. The Sedra I have is a replacement to my original. It went into service on 9/28/08 and was shut down about four months ago. Call it ~3.5 years (not ten).
