I need to get rid of the Xenia and some of the other coral as it is looking too congested.
Minh, do you think your tank will be fine if you did not perform the water changes? Or do you do it the cause you have to in order to keep your nems happy? I just want to know if it was a necessity.
Also, thanks for your kind words

Very nice...

Good pick and glad it made the bike ride.

Do you have any video of it? Trying to show a friend and others how flow in different tanks help. Your tank will prove that you can have lots of items and still have flow.

Thanks worm and Yes the bike ride was cold... ThAnks for reminding me. :spin2:
This gig is slightly further and I don't know if I want to do it again. May have to get it shipped but still undecided tbh
I will post a video up tomorrow when the lights are back on

I need the water for my grow out tank. About 600 babies. I have to change 100% water every week and still not having the water quality as I like for the fry tank.
I think they (the anemones) would be happy even if I don't change that much water. However, my fry won't be happy.

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered the gig and it will arrive Thursday. Can someone confirm it is indeed a gig as I'm not an expert with them?

It's a purple one, here are some photos the shop just sent me...

My thoughts are to treat it with cipro even it it looks healthy, what are your thoughts? Better safe than sorry?

Here you go....
There isn't much flow on the mag to the right as I literally just put it there a few days ago. I want it to settle and will ramp up the power head over the next few days. Saying that it feels a lot meatier and compact compared to the one on the left so isn't as flowing.
Can you remind me how to post the actual video rather than pasting a link?

Thank you! That is a very nice video.

What did you use to make the panning transitions so smooth? Looks like a boom almost.

ha ha... it just a camera phone and me trying to be as steady as possible, so nothing hi-tech i'm afraid :hmm5:

Well, it's arrived. I had to talk my wife how to acclimatise it etc. She doesn't even like touching the water so it was tough. I got her to take videos and pictures as we went along,....

I guess it looks better than I expecting, but the light blue base looks a bit artificial, what do you guys think? Can't wait to get home now.... This is my first gig and I've never seen a live one before !!!!

The color of the base and tentacles in not artificial at all. They all have color foot and color tentacle tips. It is just a bleached Purple Gigatnea, stressed but seem great for just arrive. Good luck with him.
dyed anemone have uniform color though out, tentacles and oral plate an column.
