Did a weekly water change, credit scraped the tank, changed the gfo and took some camera phone pics. Hope you enjoy.

Eventually... there was a very old 40 breeder that someone left on the street in the neighborhood. Resisted the temptation of picking it up. LOL.

Ah, one tank budded off another one!

Good job Mike. Keep it up.

What's funny is that when I first started I bought two nanos, a biocube and aquapod, as part of the purchase. Speaking of budding, leaning towards my zoa addiction again.

Just a little of everything

Sweet setup. That BTA is nice!

I love this morph, it has some green from the mouth to the start of the tentacles.

Only bad part is that its new home is under an unknown acro and it stung/killed a 3" branch of it. I now need to frag the acro. So goes the lesson on mixing anemones and sticks. Had the anemone on a rock and isolated to its own little island surrounded by sand, but it can really extend its foot to get to other rocks.

Still trying to figure out the "multi-quote" response.

Finally figured out the multi quote option
Nice Mike, if you keep the tank too close together they will sprout a new one so becarefull lol
... or grow roots and a 40 breeder will end up on the floor.
Where's the conneting tube :p
Looks good man.
Hmmm... three tubes, 1) connecting both tanks 2) overflow in one tank to a large sump 3) return back to the other tank.

Thanks for the kind words.
Mike

Picked up a cap. Its 3" wide by 4" tall. I was not a fan of monti caps, until now. I love the colors and shape of this piece. My LFS just got this in and was there at the right time.

This pic is 3 hours after picking it up and dipping.

Nice, that a green with purple rim?

The other day i was telling my roomates, I'm so glad i went with LED's. Heat and power would be killing me if i did MH.

More like a light green with a light purple rim. Looks like a leng sy but not.

I went with LEDS for the energy savings. But live in the city so the heat or a need for a chiller is not an issue. I just need to make sure that the fans are running cause never tested how hot the heatsinks get with the diy kit.

Got some new PE's. Red halos, blue agave, galaxies, and hawaiian stardusts.

Don't see too many of these in this area or I just don't have the underground hook up. :wildone:

Honestly can not tell the difference between the red halo and the blue agave. Red halo has more white splatter and blue agave has a hint of blue.
