Amazing what switching to Radiums can do (before and after)

I'm using t5s now mainly due to heat reasons, but I still think radiums are my absolute favorite for growing and coloring up SPS. That's a great transformation

One of my buddies here is much better with his tank maintenance and his equipment is top of the line. He has the best looking tank here. He runs LEDs. I always wonder to my self what his corals would look like if he had Radiums.

Quite impressive transformation!
How about the corals in the tank? Curious to know how the others turned out.

Thanks.

+1 to not only Hamilton making amazing units and having great customer service (even halfway around the world to this Australian) but I adore the Radium bulbs, greatest decision I've made for the tank to date!!

Very nice thread. Looks like there are quite a few Radiumheads around still. Wonder what a 400w Radium will do to my corals... :spin2:

Dunno, but I'm strongly considering adding a Hamilton pendant with a 400w Radium to my Radions on a 150 deep dimension.

one of my pendants fell into the tank a few months ago (250w phoenix DE) and I took that opportunity to pickup a Hamilton Bali pendant and Radium (running on the same hqi ballast.) Side by side both bulbs are extremely close to the same color, but I would give that slight edge to the Radium. Eventually I'll switch out the 2nd phoenix for a Radium as well, not anytime soon because im broke and don't want to buy another pendant if I don't have to :)
