Amazing what you can find

I tore down my tank and put all my rock into a feed trough to "cook" for a few months until I put a new tank up. Low and behold this guy shows up.

kinda freaked me out at first but found out he's a Scutus--- safe algae eater. Who knows how long he's been hiding in my rock...

A few months ago, Dave gave me a Limpet. I wanted one, and his have been breeding in his system. It's been in my quarantine tank, but I may move it to the prop section soon. It was out of sight for almost a month, but last night it appeared.

They do look alike...maybe mine is half limpet, half scutus. =)

I think I had seen him(her?) before, but thought it was a black sponge. Said they can get up to 6" and mine's that size now, so it's been around the block...
 
thats kinda gross, not sure the wife would like that one showing up. Cool to find at random tho!
