Anampses femininus spitting sound everywhere

My femininus wrasse is spitting sound everywhere, covering my bottom corals with sand most of the time. It's not due to hunger as it is eating regularly and even after feeding is doing the same. Probably looking for pods in the sand...
Does anyone has a tip how to stop this behaviour?

No way to stop it; sorry. That's natural behavior; sifting the sand looking for things to eat.

Do all anampses have this behaviour or it is just some of them? My yellowspot tamarin is also spitting from time to time, but it's way rare than the femininus.
Any of you that have anampses have such problem?

That's what they do. My red tail and pearl wrasse do the same thing

my melanurus just made a sand storm now. she then spit out the sands onto the monti cap. :facepalm:

Do you think more /or more frequent/ feeding could help? There are certain periods when the wrasse stop with this sand sifting, but I can't figure out what's the reason for that

It is simply their nature.
