Anatomical clarification?

O.K., I am trying to determine gender on my little ones ... this morning, while stretching and staring up at his new tree, Matrix gave me a good view of the underside of his body ... between the middle set of his legs, there are 2 little curved, darkish "bristle" looking things, pointing towards each other and curving downward before they meet ... would this be male organs? The photo on the other post (the one that got closed) showed clear, not colored anatomy, so I am not certain if I am seeing something indiciative of gender or not.

Please let me know!!! It would be nice to really MEAN "he" when I say it for Matrix! Might be a little trickier on Tango ... LOLOL!!

The gonopods come off the inner base of the last (third) pair of walking legs.
