And so it begins...the start of my 800g plywood upgrade

Yeah, they are awesome. She comes with me to work everyday. I've had her since she was 7wks old. Maybe 1 day a month she is not at work with me. People all love her, she's so personable and loving, especially with kids.

Great looking pup! We have dobies and I thought for a second seeing the coat/colors that it might be a dobie but once I seen the wider muzzle I knew it had to be a rottie. My neighbor friend had a rottie named murphy as we grew up and it was such a great dog, real personality on her and great house protection.

Can't wait to see more on the build you seem to be making some great progress! I made a 300g sump/frag (4x5x24") doing epoxy pours and it took a ton of time to build it, you seem to be making much faster progress. I see a fluval pump is that the sp6? Is it your return pump? We are running the sp6 for a return on our 470 and its a beast, but still nice and quiet.

Yes, clowns this is a lil faster than epoxy. With my old epoxy tank, I had to sand in between each coat. With the rubber paint you don't sand. I was getting a coat in every day or so. It stays tacky until water hits it. Then the tackiness is gone.
Yes it's a sp6. I will be using 1 specifically for the return and another for the skimmer, CaRx, biopellets and intermittent GAC/GFO use plus that one will be T-d off as a return as well

Nice ugly. What are the dims? And what's planned so far? They aren't hard to build and there are definitely some tolerances for error on these tanks too

Coming along nicely, the extra height will be a nuisance but will look brilliant. I like a good ply tank thread, just not had the balls to try building one for myself yet!

Yes, I actually filled it up last week. Finished adding all corals today(missed almost all football:(...) but it's done now.
Tuesday, I will fill the last hundred gallons and get the returns turned on.
Had to do it in steps like this cuz of how deep it is.
Was getting in and out constantly butt naked so I didn't get tons of water on the floor with a bathing suit. My wife kept laughing at the fact that I was naked in my tank. Not too many people can say that, lol. No pics were taken during that though ;)

We will be getting a new computer hopefull for Black Friday, so I will try to upload pics then.
Fish will go in next week. Lost a couple fish though. A royal gramma who looked worse for ware for a while now, a jawfish(think it jumped from the uncovered section of my QT system), and possibly a tailspot blenny.
But my tangs and wrasses are great. Can't wait to see them in their new home.

You're much faster than me building yours. I will be doing glass on Monday, then comes the bracing and then the glass sections of the sump. Then the plumbing, I almost forgot the plumbing.....
Yours is done huh? we could use some picture inspiration.
Daniel.
