ok well its monday. im waiting for my ro/di system. should get it this week. once i get that i will be starting to fill the tank. but in the mean time i am going to be redoing my stand. going to sand it all down and maybe even cut out where the drawers are so i can fit my 55g under it for a sump. and then go to lowes and buy new doors for it. i will keep you posted!

How do I drill my tank and what will I need?! Also I didn't get to my tank but I finally will today. My rodi system should be here today or tomorroq. Can't find anyone with live rock. So just going to get it from my Lps. And I'm going to start fixing up my stand!

You can have somebody drill it for you or you can drill it with a Holesaw and a Dewalt.

So I'm going to make a over flowbox just like a rr aquarium? But with acrylic. Could I use plexuglass? And I heard that with these over flow boxes there's a lot of splash sound... Any way to get rid of that? Other over flow ideas?

Well can I just buy one? And why can't I just drill a hole at that same level hight and just have a tube going out the back of my tank and down into my sump? Why does it have to be in the tank? And drilled at the bottom? Can I do it on the side at the hight I want my tank to remain? And just have a small tube going out the back and into the sump?

I know but why do I need that why can't I just drill a hole at the to and have that for an over flow? My stand why do I need that on the inside can't I do that on the outside in a way? By drilling a hole?

Just think of a L shaped tube coming out the back of my tank from the hole I drilled and having it run into my sump.
