oxx155 - I get my intake screens at Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc.

ptr13 - I have a 300 gallon tub and a 150 frag tank full of SPS. They will all go into the new tank when it is ready.

I cleaned 650lbs of Fiji pink sand for the tank. I also added 100lbs of "live" Fiji pink sand.

I also moved my fish livestock into the tank...

Wow, that school of tangs and angels looks like a school of Chromis in a smaller tank. It really shows what a large aquarium this really is.

I am guessing you used both live sand and live rock....how long did it take to cycle before you added the fish.....

Alex T. - I have some chromis as well...

They keep going over the falls and I find them in the filter socks...

FuzzyZipperbaum - You are correct I used both live sand and live rock and cycled it for about three weeks before half the fish went in then I waited another two weeks before I put the rest of the fish in.

thewire - I have a routine of cracking the windows of the basement each morning and closing them at night. If it gets humid then I open the windows while I am home and let the air circulate a few times a week. Old school, I know but it works for this system.
