I can imagine how much work it took to tear down the system. Never a fun task. When you set up the new system I'm sure it's going to be even more impressive.
I have to say that this is a first. I've sewn the building of a tank but never a build of a back down. I'm sad to see this but can't wait to see your new build which I know will be just as awesome if not better.
When I was little I told my mom about the type of fishtank I eventually wanted to build. She told me that what I wanted was a career, not a hobby.![]()
It would be nice for us all to make that switch, and get paid for using our imagination in our own homes. Just for doing something for our families and ourselves to enjoy.:headwally:
Daniel.
thanks for posting the break down pics. You are right, you never see that part of a build. Looking forward to the next one.
to bad you had to take it down. Can't wait to see your next one.
WOW, I've been busy with moving from Huntsville to Florida and have been out of touch for about 5 months. When I left you were going strong and now your gone.
I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT BUILD!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Luck
Joe
PS. My tank is still back in Huntsville sitting in my father in laws garage while I'm in Tampa. I miss my tank so I expect you will start building a new one soon.
I'd seen your tank on youtube, but never read the build thread, just went through the entire thing, all 72 pages lol. Quite an epic process, can't wait to see how you top it with the next tank!
holy crap! I went away for a few months and look what I missed. Dave.... where are you moving to?
