Ok so the real story is that we just finished filling the tank and the water was way cold. Our 7 year old was game to jump in and take a swim until he felt the water. We had to bribe him with a $50 bill and he finally put his head under.

I thought cycling with livestock was frowned upon? :spin2:

what are ya going to do for humidity in the house i been to peoples houses with 300 gallon tanks and you can feel the humidity when you first walk in

I made sure he showered and made him promise he would not pee in the tank!!

He was not happy about the three weeks of having to stay in the tank though!!

I will be adding a dehumidifier in the future. Right now I open the windows each day and air out the basement. It's a manual process that I look forward to automating in the near future. Good question!
