anemone and clown match?

So I have a question. I purchased my nem(long tentacle sebae) about a week ago, It seems to be settled and eating. I had a friend who had a young pair of false percs that he needed to get out of his tank asap. So of course i took them. Theyre doing fine, eating like pigs, but completely ignoring my nem. Will they eventually be drawn to it? I read that some false percs will put up with a sebae. But how rare is this?

It is possible that your ocellaris could be hosted by the LTA, but since it is not a natural host, only time will tell. As far as ocellaris and H. crispa, also not a natural symbiont, but again possible. Although LTAs aren't natural hosts to maroons, they often take to them in aquariums. Clarkii is a common natural symbiont with the LTA and would almost certainly find it's way to your anemone. I once had a tomato clown in an LTA.

From you experience... In a 90 gallon tank, will 2 clarkiis and 2 false percs get along okay? Of course they would all be juveniles at first. Because right now my choices are to either get rid of the percs or the nem, or to buy 2 clarkiis and an additional carpet nem...

IMO/E mixing a clarkii pair with any other clowns in a 90 would be a bad idea. Might work short term, but you would end up with just one pair --- the clarkiis.

As for having a carpet in that tank with another anemone,... I have had bad luck mixing carpets (( haddoni )) with other anemones.
