well i got this maybe 4" rbta and i recently got a 3" golden maroon clown... and it was hosting it right away. now............... my rbta looks really beat up.. will it kill my anemone?! any options?

Are there any other possible reasons for its "beat up" appearance? Poor water quality, lighting, etc? Improper acclimation, etc

Maybe post a picture of the anemone so we can see what it looks like "beat up"

yeah im for sure the clown is beating it up.. because it was perfectly fine until i put that clown in today....... i even saw him sucking on one of its testicles. i hope i can catch that clown out.. would like to keep the rbta

I think you meant "tentacles"....right:eek2:

golden maroon clowns are verry agressive with anenomes. That's why the anenome has to be much bigger than the clown itself. I have read about this before. Actually, my maroon clown killed my anenome for this same reason. You have to get a bigger one!

That was to funny, how long have you had the anemone, what are your water parameters? Seeing you are a new member just wondering if maybe your tank isnt ready for an anemone, some test results, lighting config, age of tank and other info may help us to help you.
