Anemone & clown choice?

I would like to add an anemone with a pair of clowns to my reef tank and would be interested in your opinions for the best picks. I would prefer a Pacific Anemone combined with a smaller variety of Pacific Clowns. I have room at one end of my 120(72") just for these critters. I've read that the Anemone is the more difficult to keep of the bunch, needing good water flow and strong lighting which I have. I've always wanted this group in my tank but have been wating for my experience level to catch up with my want! How hard is it to keep an Anemone ?Which tankmates have you found to be unsuitable?

i love RBTA with black clowns ,,,what a killer combo. they are a great match too , 007 just got 2 blacks that host in his RBTA ,,,gotta be a nice looking combo ,

i just started this hobby around 6 months ago and i have a rbta and there have been no problems its growing and everything. im sure an anemone will work out great for you. just know that they will move to pretty much any part of the tank they want and clowns wont always want to host with it like you want. :D

I'm into the different looking ones:

- Onyx Clownfish
- Picasso Clownfish
- Snowflake Picasso Clownfish
- Pearl Eye Bicinctus Clownfish

One thing to keep in mind is that one end of your tank that has room might not be the end that nem will like. It will move around and find the spot that it likes, which could be against your favorite coral. I really like having these but be prepared to move some things around until it stops moving.

I know, I just posted this pic in another thread but thought it fit here as well.

I'm really likein' these replies! I appreciate your thoughts on this because I want to make the right choice at the right time. Just had a conversation with Dan at Salty and his sage advice was right along the same lines. I am in the research stage and haven't decided on the particular variety of Anem. or Clowns, just want compatability all the way around. I'm with Tswifty in wanting different looking ones, but mainly want a sustainable group!

Dan @ Salty says those RBTA'S are awsome, too!(I didn't know what they were) Which Anemone Fish are normally associated with them? I really like the looks of Carpets as well! Would like to stay with Pacific varieties, for sure.

WOuld be interested in descriptions of where in your tanks the anemones finally found a home? High, low, strong current, random current, light intensity, on rocks, on sand?

my rbta moved to to the very top of my tank sort of near the back of the tank,, but he'll probably move again in a few months,, he's been everywhere
