Anemone Constantly On The Move

We have had our green BTA for approx 8 months. It sat very happily attached to a crevice in a piece of live rock and has grown by at least x3 of it's original size - Until Now:

For the last two weeks, it has been constantly on the move, trying to stuff itself into small cracks and caves in the rock work.

He seems to be fine, has not lost any of his color and is still feeding well.

Is this normal behavior?

My rose BTA sits very happily on her live rock and has not moved once.

how old are your light bulbs?

Nothing in my tank has changed at all.... My water is perfect.

One thing I did notice this evening, his mouth looks like an inside out belly button (that's the best way I know to describe it). It's tightly closed - just "bubbled up". The mouth has a football shape vs a circle shape.

This isn't a great picture because all but my moon lights have turned off for the night, but you can see how swollen his foot is.

What are the actually numbers behind your "perfect" water?

What lights do you have?

What size tank?

Anemones move when their conditions aren't being met and they are trying to find better conditions. While I no longer keep BTAs (( E. Quadricolor )) mine never moved when they were splitting.

My Nitrates and Phosphates are Zero, CA 460 mg/L, KH 125.3 ppm , salinity is 1.022, Ph is 8.0. I have a 30 gallon with a Coralife Aqualight Dual T5 Lamp High Output Fixture.

Your going to want your salinity at 1.026 raise it very slowly. I saw a clown in the picture has it rescently started bothering the anemone?

How many watts is your fixture. Im assuming its not enough light for him. And im not a expert but i belive your salinity needs to be bumped up a little. But thats just my two cents worth.

Like was mentioned, need to get your salinity up to 1.026.

Does that fixture have individual reflectors? And what wattage are they?

Yes, it does have reflectors, but I don't see any information on the wattage. The only thing I see is the wattage of the lights:
10,0000K Daylight and Actinic Blue Lamps

Not being difficult, but is there one big reflector, or smaller individual ones for each bulb? (( for T5's that makes a huge difference )).

Do you at least know the length of the bulbs?

There are individual reflectors around each set of bulbs. The length of the bulbs are 24". There are two florescent and 2 blue.
