Anemone cut cloning Can you cut 1 large RBTA into 4 or 6

So I have a large RBTA that i have had for years. I will be reworking my rock work soon and will be able to get to the foot to get it out of the tank for some cloning. I haven't had issues with 2 from 1.

Anyone had success turning 1 into 4 or 6? wasn't sure if it would have enough in it to to heal from such small segments of the mouth and foot with the extra cuts.

Please advise

ive done it plenty of times, but only with a single cut...with a high survival rate. im not sure if i could recommend multiple cuts, as your survival rate is going to go down. once you get the anemone out of the tank, its gonna shrink considerably. id consider doing a single cut, let it heal for a few weeks, then another cut if you are inclined to do so.

Kinda what I was thinking. plus the little fish breeding box i put them into heal is only so big :p

Anyone else done a multi cut on 1?

@Sapsis... NOVA?? Im just south of DC in MD... Across from woodbridge.

The internet is so small. HAHAHA

If you have too then 4 would be Max. Hard to get a piece of the mouth and foot in 6 pieces. I would do 1 cuts. Heal for 1 month since I belive rbta heal faster then ritteri. Then cut those 2 into half again. To end up with 4 nem. By cutting all at once into 4 the healing time would be the same as cutting into 2 then wait and cut again. Survival is better that way IMO.
