Anemone Feeding, Too Much?

Hey guys, I've been feeding my anemone uncooked shrimp twice a week, and he seemed to be doing fine until last week. He has been taking the shrimp in, then in the morning I find it floating around the tank, like he spit it out. Am I feeding him too much at once and he can't get it into his mouth? I am cutting the tail off a normal sized cocktail shrimp and using a turkey baster to get it down to him.

Thanks!

Once or twice a week isn't too much.
I prefer sliversides for nutritional value.
What are your specs/params, and how old is tank?

What kind of anemone is it? How big is it? What lighting is it under?

Two times a week isn't too much. I would cut the shrimp into smaller pieces. I like to chop up a variety of seafoods (clam, squid, shrimp, scallops, tuna, etc) finely. They are so fine that they can be sucked up with a turkey baster and fed to the anemone. They have an easier time digesting smaller portions of food.
